Nice space for small and large cats I have two relatively large cats (~12lbs each) that love this thing. Reading some other reviews, I was worried that they were too big (and would ultimately not use it). One of my cats spends a lot of time in the basket. It is a little snug but she seems to enjoy being cradled. The hammock and hide-out space on the second level are not useful as they fit small kittens best. However, my cats really enjoy the other spaces and hanging out here. I set this up alone and it took about 30 minutes. I have been using this for over 1 year without any problems.*UPDATE* I will have had this for 3 years this coming December. The bottom tiers are still going strong, but as some other reviewers have mentioned the top perch is now broken and the stairs have detached. I’m leaving this as 5 stars still, though, because for $70 it lasted quite a while for my cats.Please rate this review as “helpful” if it helped you! Thanks

This product definitely has some design flaws that can bring terrible potential danger to your cat SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM. I have never write any comments before, but I have to for this one. This product definitely has some design flaws that can bring terrible potential danger to your cat. The hammock part at the bottom is held by only four little hooks that have no protection units for hiding the protruding part, and the hammock can fall off so easily.Today, the hammock fell off easily again while my cat was playing on the tree, and all of the sudden, I found her struggling there because her eyelid got hooked by the hook!!! I rescued her off hook and she was literally bleeding!! It was so lucky that I happen to be at home, or else I can’t image what would happen if she was home alone and tried to get out of hook by herself. IT WOULD MADE HER BLIND!! So please double think about it before you purchase this product.

Almost purrrfect My husband and I put this together for our fur babies in 15-20 minutes. We left the cylinder tunnel off and to the side because the baby of the 4 loves to roll around in it.It’s very durable. We have adult 3 cats ranging from 12-14 lbs and 1 young adult cat that’s 8 lbs. All 4 of them are on it at the same time frequently and it hasn’t broken or tipped over. The heaviest fell off while rolling in catnip and it withheld him freaking out and hanging on for his life, so I don’t think it’ll fall anytime soon. The little bowl that hangs out on the side holds the heaviest cat with ease as well.My only complaint is that the hammock falls off easily, but it’s to be expected with the hooks it comes with.If I remember, I will follow up in 3 months to add how it’s handled my crazy fur babies.*UPDATE*So, I remembered! About 1.5 months into excessive use, the top tier became too lose and no amount of screwing it in would make it stay. We…
