Beware of knockoffs There appears to be a batch of poorly made very small knock off dog toys being sold under this listing. They look absolutely nothing like the photos of the large plush being advertised (which I’ve ordered before) and don’t come with Multipet’s packaging. The one I received was a 9 inch florescent yellow duck with no squeaker, felt eyes hot glued on, and came in a small plastic bag with no logos aside from the barcode and a “Made in China” marking.This was purchased direct from Amazon as well, so be aware when ordering that you may not get the large fluffy duck everyone’s raving about.
His first toy ever, is a winner We rescued a sweet boy from a shelter this week, he doesn’t seem to have ever been in a home or had any toy ever. As he’s been acclimating to his new home, I wanted to give him something that was special and in reading all the reviews on this little duck and seeing so many adorable dogs cuddling with theirs, I knew this was going to be the first toy we gave him. He’s all cuddly and still puppyish so it’s understandable that he is curious and likes to nab our kid’s toys and sneak them away.When we gave this to him today and reinforced that this was his a few times he quickly started carrying it with him everywhere he went in the house. Cutest was when he carried it upstairs (which also are a new thing that scare him) to go to bed tonight then found him cuddling with it sleeping.Highly recommended this little duck as a sweet surprise for probably any dog. Ours doesn’t seem to care about the squeaky at all and his hasn’t wanted to chew it up yet but as he opens up…
Like others have commented recently Like others have commented recently, Amazon used to ship out the more durable 15″ version which was the best dog toy ever. My Bassest Hound is pretty rough with toys and these things would last a few weeks to a couple months sometimes. I recently tried to order another replacement and the new version that they’re shipping out is around 8″ and is of much worse quality. I placed two recent orders and received the smaller/cheaper toys both times. One of them didn’t even have a squeaker!Please please please, Amazon or whoever the manufacturer is, take note of these reviews and bring back the old version!!!!
